availability

Integrable with StruxureWare Data Center Expert
An IT-compatible, scalable access monitoring system that collects, structures and distributes critical alarms, video surveillance and other important data. For a unified, network-wide overview of complex physical IT infrastructures.

Flash, upgradeable
Update the firmware quickly and conveniently via network download to benefit from the latest product optimizations. There is no need to replace devices to use new features. (Note: only applies to systems that can be accessed via the network)

display for local power monitoring
The total power consumption per rack PDU is shown on the system display. The display helps prevent circuit overloading by providing visual alerts when power consumption approaches the maximum rating of the branch. (Available on select models only)

alarm thresholds
Set alarm thresholds to prevent overloading of electrical circuits. Visual alarms and notifications sent over the network alert users to potential problems. (Note: Only available for devices with power monitoring function. Please refer to the specifications of each model for availability.)

load indicator LED
Indicates overload and alarm conditions when user-defined thresholds are exceeded. Alerts the user to potentially overloaded circuits.

switch-on delays
Users can specify the order in which devices are turned on and off, preventing overloads and power supply problems during system startup. Another advantage of specifying the startup order is that equipment that depends on other units is only started after they have started, thus ensuring correct functioning.

remote control of individual outputs
Users can turn off unused outlets (avoiding overloads) or restore power to failed devices (reducing costly downtime and eliminating time-consuming and costly travel to devices).

network management functions
Standard-compliant network management interfaces enable management via web browser, SNMP and Telnet. Remote access for configuration and management of the rack PDUs saves users valuable time. The interfaces also allow the firmware of installed devices to be updated quickly and easily via network download in order to implement new product functions.

display for local power monitoring
The total power consumption per PDU (Power Distribution Unit) is shown on a digital display on the system. The display shows visual alarms as soon as the power consumption is close to the maximum of the line capacity. This helps prevent overloading of the lines.

remote management functions
Fully featured network management interfaces for standardized management via web, SNMP and Telnet. Allows users to access, configure and manage systems at a remote location, saving valuable time.

Set alarm thresholds to avoid overloading circuits. Visual alarms and notifications sent over the network warn users of potential problems.

flexibility

Wide range of different inputs and outputs
Various inputs and outputs for distributing 120V, 208V or 230V mains voltage to multiple outlets. Offers users the ability to adapt to different power requirements. The units support up to 14.4 kW of power per branch whip.

power supply with single input
A branch whip can power multiple devices, making it a particularly convenient way to power rack-mounted equipment. Using a branch whip with standard connectors reduces installation time and cost.

For rack mounting
Models for horizontal, vertical and tool-free mounting. Provides power connections where they are most needed in the racks, in close proximity to equipment.
