Pencils, thanks to their robust and hard leads, can be sharpened particularly thinly and slenderly. Colored pencils, due to their softer leads, sharpen shorter and blunter. To ensure optimal sharpening, we recommend replacing the sharpener occasionally, as the sharpener blade becomes blunt over time. This leads to increased tip breakage.
