The Plustek OpticFilm 8200i SE scans 35 mm slides and negatives at a resolution of up to 7200 dpi. The optical systems, LED technology, and the combination with the included SilverFast SE Plus 8 software from LaserSoft Imaging make this film scanner ideal for demanding professional photographers and enable outstanding digitization results.

The film scanner's LED technology not only offers optimal and uniform illumination with a much longer service life, but also energy efficiency.

The software's WorkflowPilot® guides users through correction and editing steps, providing helpful tips for efficient use, even with complex image processing. The preview mode makes corrections and changes visible in the preview. Added to this is Multi-Exposure® technology, which not only suppresses image noise but also significantly improves the image's dynamic range.

The integrated infrared channel and infrared-based dust and scratch removal with SilverFast iSRD® detect and correct surface imperfections on slides and negatives without the need for manual restoration of the film surface. The included IT8 target from LaserSoft Imaging enables automatic color calibration within 2 minutes, ensuring consistent colors and detail.
