You can plug this USB 3.0 pin header into a free USB 3.0 pin header connector on your motherboard and expand your system internally by two USB 3.0-A ports. This allows you to use a USB memory stick or USB Wi-Fi stick internally, for example. Since the USB 3.0-A interface is compatible with its predecessors, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1, you can continue to use your existing USB devices.
Starting from the mainboard, both USB ports are facing upwards and arranged one above the other.
