Product description

The Vitalis roaster for stovetop and oven can be used like a conventional roaster for searing, braising, and making casseroles. After searing on the stovetop, the roaster can be placed in the oven for slow braising. Additional inserts and steaming trays are available for converting this appliance into an aroma steamer for the oven.

Cooking in the WMF Vitalis is a gentle process for vegetables, fish, and meat. The steamer is a closed system for the stove. Liquid is brought to a boil in the roasting pan. The ingredients cook on the steaming tray in the rising steam without coming into contact with water. The integrated thermometer in the glass lid allows you to check the temperature from the outside without lifting the lid. This means the cooking process isn't interrupted by unnecessary energy loss.
