Measuring just 30 centimeters in length and weighing only 1.5 kg, the Avision AD225 series features an integrated automatic document feeder (ADF) and card scanner in a single compact unit. With its innovative design of a retractable ADF and front tray, the AD225 series is easily portable, allowing you to increase productivity when scanning large volumes of documents at any workstation.

Productive and Flexible
The AD225WN is productive with a scan rate of up to 25 ppm and 50 ipm via its built-in 20-page automatic document feeder, and accommodates documents up to 14 inches. To ensure high-quality card images, the AD225WN also includes dedicated front and rear trays for handling plastic ID cards, driver's licenses, and even embossed cards up to 1.25 mm thick, or paper up to standard size (8.5 x 14 inches) and a weight between 27 and 413 g/m² (rear tray: 50 x 105 g/m²).

Effective network scanning
The network port on the back allows you to use the AD225WN as a network scanner. Multiple users can then access the shared scanner and the scans stored on it.

Two ejection paths
When your single-sided document is inserted into the front or rear feed, the scanner offers two ejection paths, which you can select accordingly in the TWAIN user interface. *Plastic cards are only available for the front feed.

Scan with one keystroke
Using the Button Manager V2 software application, the AD225 series scans simplex and duplex documents at the touch of a button, saving them to PDF, searchable PDF, JPEG, or Office applications like Word or Excel. The AD225 series automatically recognizes each inserted document, straightens it, and sends it directly to your specified destination as an email attachment, to your printer, to image editing software, or even to a cloud server like Google Drive or Microsoft SharePoint.

Included software package
The AD225 comes with a TWAIN driver and includes a range of powerful software applications, including Avision Button Manager V2, AVScan X and Nuance PaperPort SE 14.
