Instant connectivity and reliable performance
The NETGEAR Gigabit Unmanaged Switch Series helps your business cost-effectively expand your network to gigabit speeds and higher port counts. The GS524UP complements the series and offers 16 Ultra60 PoE++ ports and 8 PoE+ ports for powering high-power PoE devices. With a total PoE budget of 480 W, you can deploy PoE+ and PoE++ devices on a single switch instead of multiple switches.
The GS524UP is energy-efficient, designed for long-term durability, and rigorously tested to deliver the reliability your business demands. 802.1p traffic prioritization and jumbo frame support allow for seamless integration into more complex networks.

Powerful Ultra60 PoE++
Ideal for powering and connecting 802.11AX Wi-Fi access points, 4K/8K IP surveillance cameras, PoE lighting, and high-performance audio speakers, the GS524UP provides you with an extremely cost-effective and high-performance switch with the best price/performance ratio.
NETGEAR Ultra60 PoE++ Unmanaged Switches support the latest energy-efficient Ethernet standard (IEEE 802.3bt), powerful enough to support devices requiring more power. The GS524UP features 16 PoE++ ports capable of delivering up to 60W of power per port.

PoE mode
Your business is constantly changing and growing, but not all of your devices may be compatible with the 802.3bt standard. The GS524UP's PoE mode solves this problem by powering both pre-BT and standard BT devices.
– GS524UP uses the 802.3bt standard by default, which is only compatible with bt standard devices
– 802.3bt standard devices: To power bt standard devices, select 802.3bt mode to receive 60W power
– Pre-802.3bt standard devices: To boot pre-802.3bt standard products, select pre-802.3bt mode to receive more than 30W of power
– If the GS524UP is set to pre-802.3bt mode, but the device defaults to 802.3bt, PoE++ will not be transmitted to the device. The switch will only deliver 802.3af (<15 W).
