This desktop switch is designed for SoHo environments and workgroups. It offers 24 10/100 Mbps ports for workstations or servers. Hubs can also be connected to the switches. All ports automatically detect the transfer rate (10 Mbps or 100 Mbps) of the connected devices.

The ports automatically differentiate between full- and half-duplex operation and support flow control. The DES-1024D is easily expandable thanks to auto uplink, providing a fast and secure way to expand your network. Flow control according to IEEE 802.3x enables a direct connection between the server and the switch for fast and reliable data transmission. With 200 Mbps in full-duplex operation, this switch provides your server with high-speed data channels with the lowest loss rate.

The DES-1024D operates without a fan, making it ideal for use directly at the workstation or as a patch cable distributor. The included mounting hardware allows it to be installed in a 19″ cabinet or rack.
