The free D-Link Network Assistant (DNA) displays all connected devices and simplifies initial configuration. The free D-View 7 Network Management System includes a license for 25 nodes and 2 probes, as well as full access to all management tools. Optional upgrade licenses allow you to expand your network and analytics.

Easy troubleshooting
The DGS-1100 series offers loopback detection and cable diagnostics, helping network administrators quickly and easily find and resolve network problems.

Loopback Detection detects loops created by a specific port and automatically shuts down the affected port. The Cable Diagnostics feature allows network administrators to quickly check the quality of copper cables, determine the cable type, and detect cable faults.

D‑Link Green Technology
Thanks to D-Link Green Technology, the DGS-1100 Smart Series saves power without compromising functionality. Most of the product family operates silently and energy-efficiently without fans. All switches comply with the IEEE 802.3az standard and offer link status detection and scheduled PoE (except for the DGS-1100-05PD and DGS-1100-08P models).

Monitoring mode
Selecting Surveillance mode in the web interface provides easy-to-use features for conveniently managing your surveillance network. In this mode, surveillance devices are automatically discovered and grouped into a separate automatic surveillance VLAN to securely and efficiently process their traffic.
