The DIGITUS® IP55 outdoor wall enclosures are designed for industrial applications. They offer protection against water and dust according to protection class IP55.

– Protected against harmful amounts of dust and water jets (IP 55)

The wall-mounted industrial network cabinets are specially designed for harsh environments, especially outdoors, with an IP55 protection rating. The wall-mounted enclosures offer optimal performance thanks to features such as a 3-point locking system with a lockable swivel handle and insulated PG cable glands. Integrated ventilation filter housings ensure fresh air intake (protection against water and dust ingress according to IP54). Applications include outdoor areas exposed to environmental influences (rain, dust, hail, snow, splash water). The roof chassis is also equipped with a filtered area to accommodate a fan module. A pair of galvanized 483 mm (19″) profile rails, labeled with height units that can be read in both directions, are installed inside. These rails are depth-adjustable. Each cabinet is a robust steel construction made of sheet steel up to 2.0 mm thick. The color is electrostatically powder-coated in the standard color gray (RAL 7035). Wall mounting is achieved using the included mounting brackets. Optionally, the cabinets can be used with a base as a freestanding solution or attached to poles using a mounting kit.
