The ABB i-bus® KNX line coupler LK/S 4.2 is a DIN rail mounting device with a 2 TE module width. It is used as a line/area coupler or line repeater. As a line coupler, the LK/S connects a line to a main line; as an area coupler, it connects a main line to an area line. It provides galvanic isolation in both cases.
In conjunction with ETS4, the group addresses of the main groups 14…31 can be filtered.
