Increase availability
An APC Rack Automatic Transfer Switch allows you to connect powered-only hardware to two different power sources, increasing the availability of that connected hardware and avoiding costly downtime. Because an APC Rack ATS uses two input power cords (not included), it can be connected to two different power sources simultaneously. Then, by connecting powered-only hardware to the Rack ATS, that hardware can have two separate power sources. If one source fails, the Rack ATS immediately switches to the second source without disrupting the connected hardware.

Easy to use
You can view the status of the APC Rack ATS at a glance via the front panel interface, but you can also manage it remotely thanks to the integrated network management function.

Because this rack ATS is equipped with multiple outputs, multiple single-powered devices can be connected to the ATS simultaneously, thus benefiting from the security of two power supplies.

Security
Thanks to the integrated intelligent interface, this APC rack ATS can monitor both input power sources, detect voltage or frequency deviations, and then perform a user-defined action, such as sending an alarm or switching.

Accesories
Connect the APC ATS to two AP9875 (C19-Schuko), AP9876 (C19-IEC309 16A), or AP9877 (C19-C20) power outlets and equip the ATS with a temperature and humidity sensor (AP9335TH). You can prevent loose power cables with a retaining clip on the AP7769.

Warranty extension
The factory warranty for this APC Rackmount Automatic Transfer Switch is 2 years and can be extended to 3 years with WBEXTWAR1YR-AC-03.

The AP4423A is a single-phase, 1U rack-mounted ATS with a 16A current rating, 230V voltage rating, and 3700VA power handling capacity.
