Always stay online and prevent data loss
Thanks to double-conversion technology, an APC Smart-UPS On-Line always supplies all connected devices with perfectly clean power. Even power outages have no impact. The APC Smart-UPS On-Line then automatically provides backup power without the need for switching. This prevents unwanted outages of a PC, server, storage device, or switch, for example. With APC PowerChute Network Shutdown software, you can even automatically and controlledly shut down critical IT hardware when the UPS battery is almost empty. This prevents data loss, downtime, and physical damage to the hardware.

Extend the term
You can easily increase the number of minutes the APC SRT1500RMXLI-NC can provide self-contained backup power by connecting external battery packs (SRT48RMBP). Even several hours of runtime are possible.

Availability
The Smart-UPS Online features an internal bypass and utilizes double conversion, maximizing the availability and lifespan of the connected hardware. This makes the UPS compatible with a backup generator.
Line double conversion technology ensures a clean, uninterrupted power supply to the protected equipment, even when generator power is used.

Security
In addition, a Smart-UPS Online protects connected devices from voltage spikes caused by lightning, among other things. This APC emergency power supply is ideal for business use.

Manage your Smart-UPS
Thanks to the pre-installed APC Network Management Card (AP9641), you can easily connect the APC UPS to the network. This allows you to remotely monitor and manage the UPS (SNMP), and the UPS can send a shutdown signal to multiple physical and/or virtual servers using PowerChute Network Shutdown software.

PowerChute network shutdown
PowerChute Network Shutdown is UPS management software that works with the UPS network management card to protect Windows, Linux, and host ESXi, as well as hyperconverged and virtual infrastructure.* In the event of a power outage, PowerChute can gracefully shut down your virtual machines, and the preconfigured boot sequence ensures they are powered back on.

Remote management and monitoring of your network

Extend the lifespan
The internal battery cartridge (APCRBC155) can be easily, safely, and independently replaced by the user without having to power down the APC SRT1500RMXLI-NC or connected devices. This allows you to easily and cost-effectively extend the lifespan of the APC Smart-UPS and keep your devices online.

Warranty extension
The SRT1500RMXLI-NC comes with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, except for the battery, which has a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. Both are extended by 3 years, to 6 and 5 years, respectively, with the APC Service Pack (WBEXTWAR3YR-SP-02).

Switched socket groups: remote restart and step-by-step start
Thanks to Switched Outlet Groups, it is possible to configure phased/delayed startup for each UPS outlet group. This reduces the UPS's peak load and brings it closer to the constant load, thus limiting UPS oversizing.

It's also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outlets and the devices connected to them. Using a network card (ap9640) in combination with Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI), this is even possible remotely.

You also cannot eliminate critical loads; this extends the runtime of critical equipment.
