The Black Unity Sport Band was designed by Black creatives and partners at Apple to celebrate and honor Black history and culture. It is inspired by the colors of the Pan-African flag and pays homage to the diverse tradition of quilt making. Three individual pieces of colored fluoroelastomer are assembled by hand and compression molded into one piece. Together with the dynamic Unity watch face, which displays an ever-changing pattern of irregular shapes as you move Apple Watch, these colors combine to create a unique image. The innovative pin closure is laser engraved with “Truth. Power. Solidarity.”
