ProArt Display PA32UCG-K
The WORLD'S first monitor with HDR, 1,600cd/m² & 120Hz
It's time to experience the ASUS ProArt Display PA32UCG-K – the world's first HDR 1600 monitor with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Its mini-LED backlight delivers 1600 cd/m² maximum brightness and 1000 cd/m² continuous brightness without partial patch limitation, as well as an industry-leading color difference of Delta E < 1. Additionally, convenient hardware calibration and versatile connectivity options via HDMI (v2.1) and Thunderbolt™ 3 ensure seamless and efficient creative workflows – perfect for content creators.
More opportunities for content creators
game developers
Benefit from the 48 to 120Hz refresh rate to create fast-rendering games and perform quality control on a single display.
filmmaker
The 32-inch 4K panel with mini-LED backlight offers higher luminance and deeper blacks for exceptional color contrast and accurate reproduction of HDR content.
Colorists
Factory pre-calibration ensures industry-leading color fidelity, while a wide color gamut and Delta E < 1 color difference guarantee excellent color accuracy.
Incredibly detailed image display
Mini-LED backlight technology uses smaller LEDs, allowing up to three times as many light-emitting diodes to be packed into the same area as a conventional panel. These densely packed mini-LEDs enable improved granularity and brightness. Additionally, the backlight can be individually controlled across 1,152 zones to achieve higher luminance and deep, dark colors, which in turn ensure unmatched contrast and accurate reproduction of HDR content.
Deeper black levels
Brighter white
A maximum brightness of 1600cd/m² and an industry-leading 1000cd/m² in continuous operation ensure excellent contrast with the deepest blacks and brilliant whites.
Outstanding colors and contrasts from every angle
Direct-backlit LED displays have narrow viewing angles. This can make collaborating with clients or colleagues on color-critical work difficult, as inaccurate colors are displayed to viewers seated at the sides. ASUS Off-Axis Contrast Optimization (OCO) technology solves this problem with a compensation layer that controls light transmission at the edges. This reduces halo effects by 80%* and delivers a 7x* improvement in contrast ratio for dark parts of the image when viewed from an angle.
*Compared to typical Mini LED displays. Results are based on ASUS internal research and may vary due to several factors, including measurement angle, instruments used, and testing environment.
Creative work in ultra-vivid HDR
ASUS Smart HDR technology
Thanks to exclusive ASUS Smart HDR technology, the ProArt Display PA32UCG-K supports multiple HDR formats, including Dolby Vision®, HLG and HDR-10.
Dolby Vision transforms the viewing experience with unsurpassed levels of brightness, contrast and color.
HLG enables the playback and production of material for broadcast and satellite TV platforms such as BBC iPlayer, Japan NHK TV and DirecTV.
HDR 10 support guarantees compatibility with existing video streaming services and a growing list of HDR-enabled games.
Various PQ curves
ASUS ProArt displays support multiple HDR 10 curves, including PQ Hard Clip, PQ Optimized, and PQ Basic, to meet the needs of content creators.
– Maintains accuracy and ensures a precise PQ curve until maximum brightness is displayed. Any brightness higher than the screen's maximum is limited to the screen's maximum.
– Displays accurate color gradients depending on the monitor's maximum brightness. Delivers HDR performance optimized for this display.
– Provides general HDR performance.
HDR preview
HDR Preview enables a direct connection between camera and monitor to view captured HDR content in its full tonal range. This also works with most video editing software platforms, providing accurate simulations of the final result, simplifying and streamlining the editing process.
Transform your viewing experience
Quantum dot technology delivers 98% DCI-P3, 99.5% Adobe RGB, 100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709, and Rec. 2020 for video editing and post-production. The IPS panel with true 10-bit color, a maximum brightness of 1600 cd/m², and quantum dot technology offers content creators a wide color gamut.
Industry-leading color fidelity
Factory pre-calibration uses a new three-step process to ensure industry-leading color fidelity. Additionally, the monitor undergoes rigorous testing using ASUS' advanced grayscale tracking technology to ensure smoother color gradations, better uniformity, and exceptional color accuracy with a color difference value of Delta-E (△E) < 1 for the sRGB color space. Each grayscale level has been measured and adjusted with the utmost precision to meet stringent DICOM standards.
Ideal for game developers and video editors
The PA32UCG-K offers a variable refresh rate (VRR) of up to 120Hz with FreeSync Premium Pro, allowing game developers to create fast-rendering games and perform quality control testing on a single display. HDMI (v2.1) with 4K 120Hz support is also ideal for video editors who need to work with high-quality, detailed footage and exceptionally smooth frame rates.
Extreme color fidelity, flexible calibration
Saved color setting profiles
ASUS ProArt™ calibration technology stores all color profiles on the ProArt monitor's internal scaler IC chip, rather than on the PC. The color profiles can be easily activated on demand using a hotkey on the monitor.
The monitor can be calibrated and the look-up table subsequently rewritten. This allows the user to connect the monitor to devices with different operating systems or applications without having to adjust the settings. Additionally, signal distortion between the IC and the optical spectrum of the LCD screen is reduced.
ProArt Calibration 2.0
The integrated ASUS ProArt Calibration 2.0 enables quick and easy adjustments to ensure the color accuracy of ASUS ProArt monitors. This technology offers both SDR and HDR calibration with adjustable parameters for brightness, color gamut, color temperature, and more to ensure consistent and accurate colors.
Seamless calibration
ProArt displays are compatible with most major calibration devices, including hardware from X-Rite, Datacolor, and Klein. They also work seamlessly with professional hardware calibration software* from Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS for quick and easy calibration.
*The Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS software is not included with the ProArt PA32UCG-K.
Optimized, efficient workflows
Connected to your workflow
HDMI(v2.1), DisplayPort 1.4, Thunderbolt™ 3 USB-C and a USB hub enable convenient connection to a desktop, Blu-ray player, control panel or additional display – all without any hassle.
Various viewing options
Picture-by-Picture (PbP) mode
To view two to four settings simultaneously, you can place multiple input sources side by side on the screen and configure the color settings of each individual window using sRGB, Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, Rec. 2020, Custom Mode 1, or Custom Mode 2.
Ergonomic design
An ergonomic stand with adjustable height and swivel, tilt, and pivot functions. The OSD menu automatically rotates to display information correctly even when the monitor is used in portrait orientation—useful when working with websites or longer documents.
Removable monitor cover
A removable screen effectively shields the monitor from ambient light and reflections, enabling more accurate and realistic color representation.
