VY249HGR has been tested for antimicrobial activity and efficacy by the independent testing laboratory TÜV SÜD according to ISO 22196.

How ionic silver works
Positively charged silver ions (Ag+) bind to the cell walls of negatively charged microbes and bacteria, disrupting their internal functions and killing them.

2.Tested by an independent third-party laboratory according to ISO 22196 (Measurement of antibacterial activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces) using bacterial cultures, including Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, with an antibacterial activity result of R > 2 compared to an untreated surface.
