The Lockerstor 12RD features comprehensive backup and security mechanisms, including two backup power supplies and four Ethernet ports for added power and redundancy. Two Gigabit and two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports adorn the rear of the NAS, ensuring fast and efficient file access for all users. The Lockerstor 12RD guarantees uninterrupted operation in the event of a port or power failure.

“Find Me” function and maintenance lighting for server rooms
In enterprise environments, storage devices are often placed together in a server room. To enable administrators to quickly locate the NAS among the servers, the Lockerstor 12RD(2U) is equipped with a dedicated button on the front panel. When this button is pressed, the LED maintenance light on the back of the NAS illuminates. ASUSTOR also offers a mobile AiMaster app for managing the NAS, which supports the exclusive “Find Me” feature. When “Find Me” is activated, the system status LED on the front of the NAS flashes, and the integrated buzzer emits an audible signal, allowing users to quickly locate the NAS.

ASUSTOR NAS devices support Windows, macOS, and other devices with a web browser. Cross-platform file-sharing protocols such as Samba, AFS, and NFS are also supported. ASUSTOR also offers desktop applications for Windows and macOS to make using and setting up a NAS even easier! ADM supports up to 4096 user accounts, of which 512 can be used simultaneously.

Protected against ransomware
The LockerStor comes with the latest version of ADM to help protect you against ransomware attacks. It features the Snapshot Center and Btrfs, which provide efficient snapshots for easy data recovery. Other security features offered by the LockerStor include the ability to create one or more alternate administrator accounts, an ADM Defender firewall with blacklists and whitelists, and the ability to change default ports. The LockerStor can also disable SSH and the terminal to protect against remote attacks. The MyArchive cold disk storage security can be further enhanced by implementing AES 256-bit decryption.

The new Snapshot Center
Snapshot Center is a new feature for ASUSTOR NAS devices that uses Btrfs and iSCSI volumes to create snapshots of the information within a NAS. Snapshot Center supports up to 256 snapshots per volume and can be performed every five minutes. It creates a backup that can be easily restored in case of data corruption or loss. Btrfs for MyArchive supports snapshots and version history to protect against accidental deletion or modification.

Our Cloud Backup Center
The Cloud Backup Center provides support for many different business cloud services, including but not limited to Backblaze B2, Microsoft Azure Blob storage, and Alibaba Cloud. Control your files with instant and scheduled backups, and use the Cloud Backup Center to create a hybrid cloud that keeps your data protected whether you're online or offline.

DataSync Center
DataSync Center combines many different cloud services into a single application. DataSync Center includes Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive, among others, and supports multiple accounts as well as multitasking. Comprehensive monitoring system
The high-performance ASUSTOR NAS offers optimal reliability for home and SMB users looking to set up a surveillance system. Four free camera channels are included, making it an extremely cost-effective surveillance solution for users with basic needs. For more demanding users, the number of camera channels can be expanded to up to 64 with additional camera licenses.
