With the FRITZ!Box 7580, AVM introduces a DSL router with innovative Wi-Fi using 4×4 Multi-User MIMO technology. This high-end Wi-Fi provides even greater range and significantly higher speeds of up to 2,533 Mbps. With the familiar convenience, the FRITZ!Box 7580 connects all computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, and other network-capable devices to the home network. Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, and the VoIP telephone system with a DECT base station and ports for ISDN and analog telephones complete the versatile communications offering.

High-speed DSL on all connections
The FRITZ!Box 7580 brings a high-speed home network to any DSL connection—whether ADSL, ADSL2+, or VDSL—and meets the highest demands with a wealth of extras. With VDSL vectoring, the FRITZ!Box supports the current standard for transmission rates of over 100 Mbps. This noticeably improves data throughput within adjacent copper lines. The FRITZ!Box 7580 can be used on DSL connections from all providers.

High-end WiFi AC+N with 1,733 + 800 MBit/s
The FRITZ!Box 7580, with its innovative Wi-Fi features, accommodates the ever-increasing number of Wi-Fi devices in the home. The advanced multi-antenna technology (4×4 Multi-User MIMO) enables optimal connections to multiple Wi-Fi devices used simultaneously. At the same time, thanks to Dual Wi-Fi, the FRITZ!Box operates in parallel in the 2.4 GHz (Wi-Fi N) and 5 GHz (Wi-Fi AC) frequency bands, effectively providing two Wi-Fi networks and achieving combined data rates of up to 2,533 Mbit/s. This allows multiple broadband-intensive applications to be used in parallel. These advanced Wi-Fi transmission technologies further expand the wireless range in the home network – while maintaining consistently high data rates. Wi-Fi devices that also support MU-MIMO benefit from maximum data transmission speeds.

Telephony options for every need
The integrated PBX is designed for the new IP-based connections (Voice over IP). Telephone calls can be made via up to six cordless telephones, which can be registered with the integrated DECT base station. Connections for two analog and one ISDN telephones are also available. Via Wi-Fi, IP telephones and smartphones also become fully-fledged telephones. Several integrated answering machines, local and online telephone directories, and numerous convenient features complete the FRITZ!Box 7580's wide range of telephony options. Smart home devices such as the FRITZ!DECT 200 switchable power outlet can also be controlled via the DECT base station.

Versatile multimedia functions
The FRITZ!Box brings all connected USB storage devices, online storage, and the content stored on them into the home network. Thanks to the integrated media server with NAS connection, stored movies, music, and pictures are made available and can be distributed to playback devices, such as a tablet or smartphone. USB 3.0 ensures extra-fast data transfer. The FRITZ!Box 7580 thus forms a powerful platform for networked multimedia applications such as IPTV, video on demand, or streaming. Thanks to several automatic Eco Mode functions, the FRITZ!Box 7580 always remains extremely economical in consumption.
