With the DECT telephone FRITZ!Fon X6 (also available in white), AVM presents a new all-round talent for telephony and the smart home. The support of full duplex HD, including the integrated hands-free function, and the powerful battery enable long telephone calls with high voice quality. Smart home devices such as lamps or sockets can also be switched. A new, freely assignable favorites button, an illuminated keyboard and intuitive menu navigation support the user with telephony, navigation and the use of services. Equipped with an answering machine, telephone books, call blocking and convenience features, the new FRITZ!Fon X6 also impresses with a brilliant color display (2.4”) and an extended battery life.

Smart home control, internet services and media players
The FRITZ!Fon X6 is optimally tailored to the digital home and for use in the home office. The FRITZ!Fon The WLAN can also be switched on and off at the touch of a button. Internet services such as receiving emails, Internet radio, news feeds and podcasts are possible with the FRITZ!Fon X6. The FRITZ!Fon X6 can also receive live images from a video intercom system. The integrated media player makes it possible to conveniently play music or photos stored on the FRITZ!Box or other media servers – even on a smart TV or a WLAN speaker if desired.

HD telephony, convenience functions and brilliant color display
FRITZ!Fon In conjunction with a FRITZ!Box, up to 5 digital answering machines, a clear call list and telephone books with up to 300 entries are available. Incoming calls, answering machine messages, emails and software updates are signaled on the FRITZ!Fon via the display and MWI button and are available at the push of a button. The enlarged battery, smart energy management and a sensitive brightness sensor that adapts the lighting of the display and keyboard to the ambient light ensure longer battery life. The integrated motion sensor wakes the phone from standby when the user picks it up.

FRITZ!Box as an ideal partner
All FRITZ!Box models with an integrated DECT base station – whether for DSL, fiber optic, cable or LTE – are ideal for the FRITZ!Fon X6. The FRITZ!Box provides all data services and convenience functions for the FRITZ!Fon. Settings can be easily made via the FRITZ!Box user interface. All voice, audio and control data is transmitted securely encrypted via DECT radio. When DECT Eco Mode is activated, the FRITZ!Box and the handheld devices switch off the DECT radio completely in standby mode.
