The AXIS A9801 Security Relay increases the security of doors monitored by Axis Network Video Door Stations. Its compact size allows it to fit into most standard flush-mounted enclosures and is installed on the secure side of the door. If the door station is dismantled or deliberately damaged, the AXIS A9801 disconnects the door opener, keeping the door securely locked. The relay's reset button can be used to restore the relay to normal operation. The AXIS A9801 also acts as a power transformer and can be used to double the 12 V output of a door station, enabling control of 24 V locks without additional wiring or power.
