Paving the way for contemporary interaction in the modern classroom
The MH856UST+ ultra-short-throw projector for education was developed for wireless collaboration and scalable interaction in interactive classrooms. BenQ is the world's leading manufacturer of DLP projectors, so the MH856UST+ offers spectacular image quality and is easy to install. The ultra-short-throw projector is virtually maintenance-free and its long service life significantly reduces the total cost of ownership. The extremely bright short-throw projection of the MH856UST+ ensures optimal presentation in any learning environment.
Tailored projection modes for an optimal learning experience
The MH856UST+ uses various modes of BenQ's color gradation technology, which are precisely tailored to different teaching content. The Infographic mode displays graphics or scales in great detail, ensuring a richer and more vibrant color performance than the normal Presentation mode. The Vivid mode produces the highest color performance for displaying images and videos.
Uncompromisingly high brightness
The high performance of the MH856UST+ is demonstrated by its high-resolution ultra-short-throw projection in full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) with an enormous brightness of 3,500 ANSI lumens. Even in large classrooms with bright lighting, the MH856UST+ displays images and text clearly defined and with enormous sharpness. The high resolution allows a very wide viewing angle and thus ensures significantly better readability of all teaching content.
Unhindered teaching without space restrictions
The ultra-short throw projector MH856UST+ is able to perfectly display its image area from a very short distance to the projection surface. It also eliminates distracting shadows and glare effects. Students and teachers can also move freely in front of the board.
Larger images
BenQ's ultra short throw projectors offer a range of resolutions and projection sizes to meet different classroom needs. With impressive image quality from projections up to 100 inches, BenQ's ultra short throw projectors offer great flexibility in modern classrooms while also reducing costs.
Multi-touch with pens and multi-screen drawing on any surface
PointWrite™ creates numerous new opportunities for interactive collaboration in modern classrooms and works seamlessly on any surface. There is no longer a need to purchase expensive whiteboards or additional technology. PointWrite™ enables multiple users to collaborate simultaneously and the use of two projectors can double the total projection area. With the QWrite™ whiteboard mode, teachers can run different applications or play, view and, if necessary, comment on two monitors.
* The exclusive annotation software QWrite™ is compatible with PointWrite™.
Scalable interactive collaboration with the PointWrite™ module
BenQ's new PW30U PointWrite™ interactive module enables a collaborative learning environment where students and teachers truly work together using intuitive templates. Combined with BenQ's QWrite™ software, calibration and driver installation are particularly easy.
* PW30U and PT20 are available as optional interactive modules for the MW855UST+ and MH856UST+.
Intuitive setup
PointWrite™ automatically calibrates and saves its settings when connected to a computer's USB port. PointWrite™ is ready to use at any time without manual configuration or complicated training for teachers. The interactive sensor of the MH856UST+ guarantees reliable auto-calibration in any ambient lighting.
Simple and convenient wireless dongle
To make lessons even more engaging and intuitive, teachers and students can use their own smart devices and project documents, images or videos with the MH856UST+ to share ideas and work together in teams.
* The MW855UST+ and MH856UST+ are compatible with the optional QCast Mirror wireless dongle.
The MH856UST+ is widely compatible with popular projector control systems such as Creston, AMX, PJ-Link and Extron* for network control over LAN , making it much easier to integrate into educational infrastructures. The MH856UST+ also supports RS-232 for reliable installations at longer distances of up to 15 meters when a network is not available.
* The Extron developed IP Link driver enables device monitoring, control, and support over LAN when the MediaLink Controller, IP Link Ethernet Control Interface, or other IP Link-enabled device is installed. For more information, visit www.extron.com/driverdownloads
app for centralized updates
The firmware of all MH856UST+ within the same local network can be conveniently updated via LAN. For more information about the app, please contact BenQ customer service.
Centralized control with exclusive software from BenQ
BenQ's centralized control software is the ideal management tool for convenient remote management of multiple projectors. All projectors within the same projector network can be remotely monitored, controlled and configured either individually or as a group.
Digital image reduction and lens shift for effortless projection adjustment
Using the OSD menu for digital image reduction and lens shift, the projection image can be reduced by up to 80% in 0.5 increments. The projection can also be moved in this way so that the projector does not have to be repositioned if the image is not exactly centered in its projection frame.
Corner Fit correction
Corner Fit correction allows individual adjustment of each corner of the projection for perfect adaptation to different environmental conditions.
Easy adjustment when wall mounted
For a professional installation, our ultra-short throw projector supports wall mounting with an installation diagram and a mounting jig for perfect screen alignment and image positioning in the classroom. Adjustment is even easier with the three-way button on the front of the projector for cleanly displayed, absolutely square image surfaces.
Highly sensitive sensor prevents contamination
The MH856UST+ has dust-sensitive sensors that effectively prevent any accumulation of dirt inside the laser light source. This means that the projector's performance spectrum can be fully utilized for significantly longer and interrupted IR signals, flickering, abnormal colors or even the projector switching off are a thing of the past.
A long lamp life saves energy and costs
Less frequent lamp changes and therefore less maintenance lead to lower total cost of ownership. The LampSave mode of the MH856UST+ dynamically adjusts the performance of the projection lamp to the content of the projection to save up to 70% in energy and extend the lamp life by up to 50% compared to normal mode.
Unmatched readability
BenQ's ultra-short throw education projectors produce industry-leading deep contrast and feature advanced and DLP-optimized lens systems that ensure sharp resolution and precise readability of every single pixel.
Consistently outstanding image quality
BenQ's ultra short throw projectors for education meet the highest industry standards in terms of endurance and longevity thanks to BenQ's exclusive DLP technology. This technology maintains outstanding image perfection and prevents color loss over a long period of time. Unlike conventional projectors, BenQ's DLP projectors appear as good as new even after a lamp change. In addition, two million micro mirrors and minimal heat generation ensure that the DLP chip can last up to 100,000 hours of operation without any deterioration.
