With the Deep Silence 6 HPTX case in Rev. B, we present a slightly revised version of the popular big tower from the next generation of silent PC cases.

Our Deep Silence series has already garnered more than 150 awards from the international trade press. Its innovative concept and exceptional quality delight both experts and enthusiasts alike.

Based on customer feedback, the Nanoxia design team has developed meaningful optimizations during product development, which are reflected in this revision. A notable innovation is the newly developed 6 x 2.5″ mounting frame for space-saving installation of up to six HDDs/SSDs.

In addition to an enormous amount of space, the gigantic tower also offers innovative technologies such as the Nanoxia “Active Air Chimney” to actively improve case ventilation.

The Deep Silence 6 Rev. B also features two soundproof doors: Behind the top cover are four external 5.25″ bays, a continuously variable 2-channel fan controller with sliders for up to eight fans, and a reset button. Behind the second door are the familiar “Easy Access Panels” with two low-noise 140 mm Nanoxia Deep Silence fans. Magnets integrated into the doors ensure a firm closing and easy opening.

The case's I/O panel is located on the top. Four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and a microphone and audio jack are available here. A practical sliding flap allows the ports to be hidden when not in use. Also located in the top of the case is our unique “Active Air Chimney” for effective, active case ventilation. This can be recessed flush with the case. This ensures that the case's sleek look is maintained without sacrificing useful features and ventilation options.

The massive case can be equipped with HPTX, E-ATX, XL-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. Whether you're planning a particularly quiet high-end gaming system with extensive water cooling or looking for a case that's ideal for use as a data server with a multitude of hard drives, the Deep Silence 6 Rev. B is perfectly suited to the highest demands.

Almost silent

The goal in the development of our Deep Silence case series was always to develop cases that were as quiet as possible while maintaining the lowest system temperatures.

As with all cases in our Deep Silence series, we use special noise-reducing insulation materials. These materials were specifically manufactured to meet our developers' requirements and are equally effective at dampening both structure-borne and airborne noise. The front doors also contribute to particularly effective sound insulation through the use of sound-absorbing materials.

The hard drives and power supply are, of course, mounted in a decoupled manner. The case rests on rubberized, decoupled feet, completely absorbing vibrations. The use of the highest quality materials ensures optimal sound insulation and extremely stable performance.

A total of five pre-installed 140 mm Nanoxia fans from the “Deep Silence” series contribute to the low noise level of the Deep Silence 6 Rev. B. The fan series was developed to provide the best possible blend of cooling performance and noise emission.

Intelligent ventilation system

The ventilation system of the Deep Silence 6 Rev. B is designed to meet the most demanding needs and can also be expanded generously.

Behind the case front are two 140 mm fans with a maximum speed of 1,100 rpm. The fans are mounted in special, pivoting brackets that allow for extremely easy fan removal and easy access to the standard dust filters. Another 140 mm fan with 1,100 rpm is mounted on the rear of the case.

The standard fan control for up to eight fans allows an individual compromise between low system temperatures and the lowest possible noise level to be achieved, even when the fans are fully equipped.

The innovative Nanoxia “Active Air Chimney” allows you to easily adapt the enclosure to your needs. During normal operation, it can remain closed to maintain the consistent enclosure line and ensure optimal sound insulation.

Under extreme conditions, the “Active Air Chimney” also offers the option of actively supporting the case's ventilation—at the touch of a button, so to speak. Opening the Air Chimney activates the pre-installed 140 mm fans, ensuring rapid heat dissipation from the case's interior. As soon as the Air Chimney is closed again, the fans are also deactivated.

A total of up to three 120 or 140 mm fans can be mounted under the top cover and operated via the Active Air Chimney. To optimize graphics card cooling, two additional 120 or 140 mm fans can be mounted in the left side panel. Two 120 mm or one 140 mm fans can also be installed in the case base if needed. Appropriate dust filters protect the hardware from dust particles.

The specially designed mounting bracket for two 120 or 140 mm fans, which is attached to the hard drive bay, can be easily removed. This bracket can significantly increase the ventilation of the hard drives and the entire system if necessary. The tower's generously dimensioned interior ensures that no space problems arise. The mounting bracket is also perfectly suited for mounting a 120/140 mm or 240/280 mm radiator and integrating the fans.

Watercooling Ready

The Deep Silence 6, even in Revision B, remains ideal for the most demanding water cooling projects. Radiators up to 360 mm long can be installed under the case lid. The case lid features special side mounting points that enable maximum compatibility, especially when using particularly thick radiators. These can be used for 120/140/240/280 and 360 mm radiators. Thanks to the immense space, even the most massive radiators can be operated in push-pull mode with fans on both sides.

The mounting bracket behind the hard drive cage also allows for the internal installation of compact water cooling solutions or 120/140, or 240/280 mm radiators. These can be equipped with up to four fans between the hard drive bay and the motherboard – without colliding with the motherboard or power supply. This also allows internal radiators to be cooled in push-pull mode without any case modifications. In combination with the two pre-installed 140 mm Deep Silence fans in the front of the case, a total of up to six fans ensure outstanding cooling performance for your water cooling system. Another advantage – the fans can be operated via the standard fan controller.

On the back of the case there are four additional rubberized hose guides for external water cooling solutions.

Diverse features

The Nanoxia Deep Silence 6, even in Revision B, impresses with a variety of extremely practical product features. One example is the fan mounting – behind the lower door are mounting frames equipped with dust filters, each of which accommodates a 140 mm fan. A simple push on the mounting frame – which works according to the push-pin principle – releases the anchor, the flap can be opened, and the fan and dust filter can be removed and cleaned. Ingeniously simple and simply ingenious.

The optical drives are, of course, installed without tools. Included in the delivery are two 5.25″ to 3.5″ adapters, for example, to allow the installation of a card reader. If necessary, these can also be used to install additional hard drives.

The massive Big Tower can accommodate up to 16 vibration-isolated hard drives. Using the two 5.25″ to 3.5″ adapters, up to 18 mass storage devices can be accommodated in the Deep Silence 6 Rev. B. The mass storage devices are installed in specially designed mounting sleds that accommodate both 2.5″ HDD/SSD and 3.5″ HDDs.

A special highlight of the Deep Silence 6 Rev. B is the newly developed 2.5″ mounting frame for up to six drives. This allows for the space-saving installation of up to six 2.5″ HDDs/SSDs. The mounting frame requires three 3.5″ bays for installation. If you do not wish to use this unique feature, you will find sufficient 3.5″ mounting slides included in the delivery to use the bays for corresponding drives.

The Big Tower features a modular triple HDD cage that can be mounted in various positions on the case floor. This ensures that extra-thick radiators, for example, can be installed without space constraints.

The massive full-tower allows for graphics cards up to 370 mm long without any modifications. If that's still not enough, you can remove the mounting bracket behind the hard drives, which provides a total of 400 mm of space.

In addition to high-end graphics cards, all current CPU coolers can be easily accommodated. Ten PCI expansion slots are located on the rear of the case, making it easy to install a multi-GPU system.
