Verbatim SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity, SD 2.0) cards are designed for use in compatible digital cameras, portable MP3 players, camcorders, mobile phones, PCs, and other consumer applications. SDHC cards use a FAT32 file system—a specification established for applications requiring higher capacity—and are particularly suitable for high-quality video.

The increasing use of high-quality videos, high-resolution digital photography, and mobile applications requires higher storage capacities and more demanding data transfer rates. SDHC cards therefore offer a continuous minimum data transfer rate rather than a maximum speed.

Verbatim SDHC cards are compatible with all relevant SD standards. Integrated write protection prevents accidental deletion of data. SDHC cards use the same low-level formatting as SD cards, but cannot be used with SD host devices that do not meet SD Card version 2.0 standards.

The SDHC logo is a trademark.

Performance classes:
Performance classes serve as the official unit for measuring SD card speed and are defined by the SD Association. The unit corresponds to 8 Mbps and measures minimum write speeds based on the “best possible fragmentation state where no storage unit is occupied.”

This packaging contains on average 90% less plastic than conventional packaging.

A massive 256GB storage capacity and a top-notch data transfer rate make this SDXC memory card ideal for recording HD videos or photos with a demanding high pixel rate. The SDXC card is perfect for professional use at home or on the go. With 128GB storage capacity, this SDXC card has plenty of room to record hours of HD video. The SDXC memory card uses the exFAT file format and can store and transfer files of any size. The SDXC memory card is the successor to the SDHC card.

*GB = 1 billion bytes. Usable capacity is lower because the device uses up to 10% of the physical memory for formatting and other functions.
