The AK-4100 series keyboards were specifically designed for use in industrial applications, server cabinets, and kiosks. Utilizing the newly developed scissor-shaped technology, the key buttons are guided at the four outer edges, resulting in a unique actuation feel, even when actuated at the outer edge.
The resulting improved key travel enabled the realization of a “soft pressure point” characteristic that was unattainable with conventional technologies at this height. With the same key spacing as a conventional desktop keyboard, this keyboard is also suitable for office use and for prolific typists.
