The AK-4400-T series keyboards were specifically designed for use in industrial environments, server environments, and kiosks. The large trackball allows even inexperienced users to easily and precisely control the mouse pointer. The newly developed scissor-shaped technology guides the keys along the four outer edges, resulting in a unique actuation feel, even when pressed along the outer edge. The resulting improved key guidance enabled the realization of a “soft pressure point” characteristic that was unattainable with conventional technologies at this height (23 mm).
