CAC-1080 – The Club 3D DisplayPort™ 1.4 to HDMI™ 2.0b signal converter. It supports HDR video quality for playback of deep color media content. The DisplayPort™ receiver supports up to 5.4 Gbps per channel across 4 channels. The HDMI™ output is fully compliant with the HDMI™ specification version 2.0b.
Resolution support
The CAC-1080 supports UHD resolutions up to 4096 x 2160p at 60Hz.
Color formats
It supports RGB/YCbCr video formats with a color depth of 16 bpc (or 48 bits per pixel), as long as it fits within the DisplayPort™ and HDMI™ bandwidth. The CAC-1080 also supports pixel encoding of RGB or YCbCr 4:4:4 to YCbCr 4:2:0 and YCbCr 4:2:0 pass-through capabilities. Additionally, HDR with Deep Color up to 12 bpc at 4K 60Hz is supported by converting RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4 via DisplayPort™ Link to YCbCr 4:2:0 at the HDMI™ output with a horizontal extension to CEA timings.
Note: For HDR to work, the source system must support DisplayPort™ 1.4 and the display must support HDR and/or HDMI™ 2.0 a or b.
