Static Routing
Route Layer 3 traffic between switches, even if they are segmented into VLANs.

CLI according to industry standard
Supports a fully industry-standard command-line interface (CLI).

Dual image
Risk-free testing of configurations.

Higher port density. Powerful Layer 3 features.
Designed for small to medium-sized business networks, the DGS-3130 series offers a unified software image with L2 and L3 capabilities, 10 Gigabit ports, and increased port density through physical stacking. Thanks to all these features, the switches integrate seamlessly into a wide variety of environments and structures, including metro Ethernet applications.

Outstanding reliability.
Advanced L2 and L3 features including port security, storm control, Spanning Tree Protocols, IGMP/MLD snooping, and IPv6 ND. Management options such as an industry-standard multilingual web interface and CLI, as well as support for multiple images and configurations.

Six 10-Gigabit ports, physical stacking for a higher port count, and integrated G.8032 Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) minimizes connection recovery time to 50 ms. A USB 2.0 interface is available for storing configuration files, boot images, and system logs. Additionally, all models support an external redundant power supply for maximum availability.

Comprehensive security.
This includes the latest security features such as Access Control Lists (ACLs) for packet content and multilayer protection, as well as storm control. Our exclusive D-Link Safeguard Engine is designed to protect your network from malicious traffic-flooding attacks, thus preserving its availability.

IP-MAC-Port Binding allows you to bind a source IP address to a corresponding MAC address and define the port number, thus increasing control over user access. Further control is gained through DHCP Snooping: Switches register IP-MAC combinations by examining DHCP packets and storing them in the IMPB allowlist.

Simple access control guidelines.
The switches offer multiple authentication mechanisms such as 802.1X, web-based access control (WAC), and MAC-based access control (MAC) for strict access control and easy deployment. After authentication, each host can be assigned its own policies, such as VLAN membership, QoS (Quality of Service) policies, and ACL rules.

The Microsoft® NAP security feature enforces policy compliance with network health guidelines. This helps protect network resources from compromised computers.

Versatile traffic management.
Extensive multilayer QoS/CoS functions ensure that critical network services such as VoIP, video conferencing, IPTV, and IP video surveillance always receive high priority, while 10-Gigabit ports provide the necessary bandwidth. Traffic shaping guarantees bandwidth for these services, even when the network is congested. With L2 multicast support, the DGS-3130 series is equipped for the increasing use of IPTV applications.

Host-based IGMP/MLD snooping enables the connection of multiple multicast participants via a single physical interface. Using ISM VLAN, switches can send multicast streams over a multicast VLAN to conserve bandwidth and enhance backbone network security. ISM VLAN profiles allow you to quickly and easily configure or replace predefined multicast registration data for participant ports. Selective Q-in-Q enables targeted VLAN traffic routing.

PoE with capacities of up to 740 W2
The 30PS and 54PS models have a PoE capacity of 370 W. With a redundant power supply, a total of 740 W can be used.
