If access points are deployed close together, interference between channels can occur without frequency management. If the DWL-8620AP detects a nearby neighboring AP, it automatically selects an interference-free channel.

This significantly reduces frequency interference, allowing you to position APs more densely. If a nearby AP is using the same channel, the DWL-8620AP automatically adjusts its transmit power to further minimize interference.1 If one AP fails, the others increase their transmit power and thus their coverage.
