The Gryphon 4500 series convinces with a modern, elegant design and user-friendly ergonomics. Thanks to the innovative 2D imager that works with warm white light, they capture both 1D and 2D codes quickly and reliably.
There are HD models with high resolution for reading smaller, short codes and variants with red light optics for capturing digital watermark codes.
Equipped with Datalogic's Motionix motion sensor technology, the scanner automatically goes into hand-held mode when picked up. As soon as it is placed back in the station, it switches back to presentation mode. The charging station is moveable, allowing the scanner to be used as a presentation scanner while it is being charged.
The radio models are available with Bluetooth technology (GBT model) or narrow band radio based on Datalogic's STAR Cordless System (GM model).
One of the key innovations for the Gryphon 4500 is the inductive charging technology. It ensures greater reliability and at the same time reduces the overall costs, since maintenance and cleaning work on the contacts is no longer necessary. The wireless models can be used in 24/7 operation without having to interrupt work processes for cleaning and maintenance processes.
For healthcare applications, the Gryphon 4500 imager is available with a special disinfectable, antimicrobial housing.
