The patented “Green Spot” visual read confirmation technology is also used in the Heron, ensuring fast and intuitive reading. When used as a presentation scanner, the “Green Spot” can be used as an aiming point. This means that when the scanner is in the holder, the “Green Spot” remains lit and shows the user where to position the barcode for reading.
