Even in a world where 2D codes are on the rise, the linear code still plays a dominant role. Long barcodes are still used in many applications. Traditional codes can be found, for example, on utility bills, in document processing, and even in packaging. These long codes pose a real challenge for true area imagers due to their shorter field of view and shallower depth of field.

RADIO MODELS
Equipped with Bluetooth® wireless technology, the QuickScan QBT2131 imager transmits data via its base station to the host system as well as to any other Bluetooth compatible peripheral device.
The QBT2131 linear imager can also be connected to any tablet with iOS or Android operating system via its Bluetooth HID profile.
The powerful and innovative Li-ion battery allows the simultaneous replacement of the battery and scanner contacts, thus ensuring regular refreshment of the most important parts of a mobile product.
To ensure that the scanner can also be used without a charging station, it has a microUSB port on the bottom of the housing, which allows both the battery and the host configuration to be charged.
