The HÜP consists of a three-part housing. The base plate is attached to the desired location, ensuring freedom of movement within the distributor. The intelligent cable guide allows for easy cable storage and securing. The base plate also features a PLC splitter holder and various cable entry options. Two cutouts on the base plate allow for the insertion of 7 mm or 12 mm microducts. The head mount on the base plate provides space for a splice holder, which can be replaced with any splice or shrink holder. The space on the base plate and the crimp holder can be used for through-splices. The second attachment contains the versatile splice cassette, which can accommodate up to 12 adapters and 24 fibers. The twelve cutouts can be equipped with up to 12 LC duplex, 12 SC simplex, or 12 E-2000® adapters. The two head receptacles in the splice cassette are equipped with two crimp splice holders, each holding twelve fibers. These can be replaced with standard splice or shrink-on receptacles. Finally, the wall-mounted enclosure is protected by a long cover, preventing access by the subscriber. The cover can also be locked with the built-in cylinder lock. A seal for sealing the splice box is located on the side.
