With groundbreaking optical technology and a host of innovative new patents, the Fujitsu fi-8000 Series supports digital transformation with industry-leading accuracy and ease of use – built on technology you can trust. Highest real-life throughput 90ppm, 100 sheet ADF capacity, optimized user experience

Industry-Leading Performance

Clear Image Capture
Clear Image Capture is a groundbreaking, proprietary innovation first used in the Fujitsu fi-8000 Series. True image reproduction and the elimination of color shifts promise industry-leading results in OCR accuracy and image quality that exceeds the capabilities of standard Contact Image Sensor (CIS) or Charge Coupled Devices (CCD). Since it is also a more efficient technology, the power consumption per scan is reduced. Clear Image Capture also enables the capture of a wide range of document types from 20 gsm to 465 gsm – including A4 envelopes, cards, passports or brochures up to 7mm thick.

Technology you can trust

Automatic Separation Control
Our patented Automatic Separation Control ensures perfect infeed and ensures that companies can also reliably digitize larger quantities and mixed batches of documents. By detecting the weight of the documents and automatically adjusting and setting the torque, misfeeds and stoppages are avoided. The result is a constant feed of different document formats that saves users the time-consuming task of sorting the different document types into individual batches. In addition, the ADF capacity of 100 sheets and the higher scanning speed enable efficient work in groups with high throughput.

Industry leading paper protection
The Fujitsu fi-8000 Series protects documents from damage with innovative technology. Patented image monitoring identifies excessively skewed documents in real time and stops scanning before they can become damaged. Intelligent Sonic Paper Protection (excluding fi-8150, fi-8250 models) reacts similarly as soon as the technology detects abnormal feeding noises. The lag detection, on the other hand, ensures that the documents are drawn in at the calculated speed.

Special collection of passport documents
The patented feeding mechanism ensures the secure capture of passports without a carrier sheet†, while the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) recognition ensures consistently accurate capture of personal data.

Unparalleled productivity

Improved multi-feed detection
In order to avoid unnecessary interruptions in the scanning process, cards, stickers and small, defined attachments are automatically recognized and, if necessary, ignored. This patented technology is an evolution of the standard multi-feed detection, which stops if anything other than a single sheet is detected during feeding.

High speed, high throughput
With a short start-up time and a duplex speed of up to 90 sheets per minute, the Fujitsu fi-8000 Series offers a highly efficient scanning process for maximum productivity in workgroups. The integrated USB 3.2 and Gigabit LAN connectivity also enables fast file transfers.

Overscan Control*
This technology automatically adjusts the scanning area to avoid image loss of documents that are fed at an angle, eliminating the need to rescan them. Three sensors detect the document edges and adapt the scanning area accordingly to the document, even if it is inserted at an angle. When scanning, the user can rest assured that the entire document is scanned every time and no part of the image is lost. *Excluding fi-8150, fi-8250 models.

urethane wheels
Urethane rollers, unlike ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) rollers, are resistant to absorbing oil from No Carbon Required (NCR) paper, which can swell and affect pull-up torque. This avoids misfeeds and jams and ensures consistent feeding performance.

stack bracket
The ergonomic holder neatly stores scanned documents for faster and easier post-scan filing.
