Simply call
The corded Gigaset DESK 400 makes making and receiving calls easy and straightforward. Four direct dial keys and ten speed dial keys give you quick ways to connect to important contacts. The phone offers you the choice of 3 melodies and volumes to alert you to incoming calls, or you can switch the ringer off if you want peace and quiet. The handset volume can be adjusted in 2 levels. The Gigaset DESK 400 can be used as both a desk phone and a wall phone, ensuring optimal usability at all times. For wall use, the phone is simply attached using two screws.
Flexible application possibilities
The Gigaset DESK 400 is easy to use and versatile, making it ideal for use at home or in the office. It is easy to install and can be connected to a landline or used as part of an internal telephone network at home or in the office. The dialling method – tone or pulse – can also be set, as can the flash time for the consultation function (using a slide switch). By pressing the mute button, you can prevent the other party from hearing what you are saying.
Quickly connected
With the help of the four direct dial buttons, important contacts are just a single button press away. In addition, up to ten phone numbers can be saved as speed dials, enabling a quick connection to the people you speak to frequently. The names of people are noted on the enclosed paper insert for each phone number, so they are always in view. To quickly call back the last person you called, simply use the redial function to establish contact.
hearing aid compatible
Hearing aid in the ear and telephone on the ear – this often causes unwanted noise, which makes every telephone call with a hearing aid a burden. The Gigaset DESK 400 is a real asset, especially for people with impaired hearing. Thanks to its certification according to the European standard ITU-T P.370, it enables users of hearing aids with inductive transmission to make telephone calls without disturbing noise.
