Multi-Gigabit PoE++ Access Switch with power supply redundancy
This 52-port multi-gigabit access switch with the latest Power over Ethernet standard IEEE 802.3bt is the perfect choice for scenarios with data-intensive network components that require no complex electrical installations. Twelve of the 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports support 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, providing the necessary high-performance foundation for operating Wi-Fi 6E access points and other network components with high performance requirements, for example. An additional, hot-swappable power supply unit can be used to achieve either full PoE performance on all 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports or to ensure maximum reliability. Four additional SFP+ ports and basic Layer 3 functions such as static routing and DHCP server make the device a reliable foundation for large networks.

Highlights

High performance on 52 ports
The LANCOM GS-3652XUP is equipped with 12 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and 36 Gigabit Ethernet ports, as well as four SFP+ ports, supporting transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps. With a data throughput of 212 Gbps on the backplane, it offers full performance even under high load. This makes the access switch a powerful foundation for large network infrastructures in all industries and application areas.

Central power supply without additional electrical installation
As a powerful PoE switch, the LANCOM GS-3652XUP supplies connected PoE devices without the need for additional power supplies or cabling. It supports the Power over Ethernet standards IEEE 802.3at/af (PoE+) and IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++, Type 4) with up to 90 W per port. Thanks to its high power reserves with a total output of 1,440 watts when both power supplies are used in power mode, it is ideal for efficiently powering devices with the highest energy requirements. This includes Wi-Fi 6E access points as well as devices such as lighting tubes and touch screens, which can now be operated via Power over Ethernet for the first time.

A high-performance basis for Wi-Fi 6E
The LANCOM GS-3652XUP, with its 12 high-performance 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports including PoE according to IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++), is the ideal foundation for integrating the new Wi-Fi 6E standard into modern infrastructures. Wi-Fi 6E access points like the new LANCOM LX-6500 with 4 streams and 3 bands each require increased performance beyond the capabilities of simple Gigabit Ethernet, while the power consumption of these access points exceeds the 30 W threshold of classic PoE+ for the first time.

Advantages

Hot-swappable PSU
The LANCOM GS-3652XUP with its hot-swappable PSU enables quick and uninterrupted replacement of the power supply in the event of a failure. A separate slot allows for the addition of a second PSU. By integrating two redundant power supplies, highly fail-safe scenarios can be implemented, for example, or PoE performance can be bundled and increased.

Front-to-back design
The LANCOM GS-3652XUP protects your investment with an innovative front-to-back ventilation design. This enables optimal cooling even in 19″ racks and maximizes the device's service life.

Static routing for unloaded networks
The LANCOM GS-3652XUP supports the basic Layer 3 function of static routing, thus shifting certain routing tasks from the router to the switch. Predefining network routes across one or more network segments enables faster data exchange, especially with high internal data volumes, and reduces the load on the router. Freed-up router capacity is then available to handle external data traffic, thus increasing the efficiency of the entire network.

DHCP server functionality
As a DHCP server, the switch is capable of independently and automatically assigning IP addresses to clients. The LANCOM GS-3652XUP supports this basic Layer 3 function and thus takes over the IP management of the connected network.

Configurable access control
The LANCOM GS-3652XUP ensures that no unauthorized clients gain access to the network. This is made possible by secure access control on all ports according to IEEE 802.1X (port-based, single-, multi-, and MAC-based).

Secure remote management
Thanks to secure communication protocols such as SSH, SSL, and SNMPv3, the LANCOM GS-3652XUP enables professional remote network management. Furthermore, the switch supports the TACACS+ protocol for authentication, authorization, and accounting. This is an optimal solution that promises maximum security, especially for the management and monitoring of multi-site networks.

Cloud-managed LAN
The LANCOM GS-3652XUP offers fast and easy network integration and automatic configuration assignment with the LANCOM Management Cloud. Cloud-managed LAN replaces individual device configuration with holistic network orchestration and enables automatic VLAN assignment to the desired switch ports. This allows all configurations to be rolled out with a click of the mouse, making even more complex networking scenarios easy to manage.

IPv6 and IPv4 support
Thanks to its dual-stack implementation, the LANCOM GS-3652XUP can be deployed in pure IPv4, pure IPv6, or mixed networks. Numerous applications such as SSL, SSH, Telnet, and TFTP can thus also be run over IPv6 networks. IPv6 functions such as stateless autoconfiguration, neighbor discovery, and MLD snooping round out the IPv6 features.
