main features
High-performance Gigabit 10GbE networking technology for today's small business
– Each model in the Aruba Instant On 1960 Switch Series provides four 10GbE connections for connecting to servers, network storage devices, or other switches.
– Two 10GBASE-T links deliver 10GbE performance over Category 6a copper cabling for easy, low-cost, high-bandwidth connections over a maximum distance of 100 meters.
– With PoE models, PoE power output up to 30W is available for Class 4 PoE devices, e.g. B. access points, surveillance cameras and VoIP phones. Up to 60W PoE is available for Class 6 PoE devices such as pan/tilt/zoom cameras and video-enabled IP phones.
Simplify network deployment and management for small businesses
– The Aruba Instant On 1960 Switch Series offers a greater level of flexibility for small businesses with many choices. It includes five models, including two (2) 24-port and two (2) 48-port models, as well as non-PoE configurations and a 12-port 10 Gigabit Aggregation Switch.
– 24-port and 48-port PoE models offer 370W and 600W power budgets, respectively, to support the latest PoE-enabled IoT devices.
– The Aruba Instant On 1960 Switch Series can be deployed in two management modes: Instant On cloud management (accessible via mobile application and/or web portal) and local web GUI.
– Each Switch is equipped with an extendable tag (a so-called luggage tag) on the front.
– The fob contains a QR code with Switch ID information (SKU number, SKU name, Serial number, and MAC address) for easy switch onboarding via the Instant On mobile app.
Ease of use thanks to stacking in the cloud
– The Aruba Instant On mobile app and cloud-based web portal make stacking in the cloud easy – just follow the recommendations to stack up to four (4) Aruba Instant On 1960 switches and manage them as a single unit.
– The Aruba Instant On mobile app automatically recognizes members, making it easy to set up and remotely manage multiple stack members.
– Thanks to automated configurations and streamlined workflows, users can manage all members of the stack from a central dashboard without having to restart devices.
Reliable security to protect your network
– With the Aruba Instant On 1960 Switch Series, you can use VLANs and access control lists to restrict which users can see what data.
– Use 802.1X with a RADIUS server to ensure only known and authorized users can access your network.
– Automated Denial-of-Service (DOS) monitors and protects the network from malicious attacks.
