Characteristics
The ETS-T50 AXE ARGB is not only a powerful CPU cooler, but also impresses with its addressable RGB lighting. The five 6mm heat pipes combined with innovative airflow optimization technologies achieve a cooling performance of up to 230W TDP. Heat Pipe Direct Touch technology, in which the copper heat pipes come into direct contact with the CPU, ensures fast heat transfer. An asymmetrical heatsink design allows for the installation of tall RAM modules. The cooler is equipped with a 12cm high-pressure fan with patented Twister bearing technology and addressable RGB LEDs. The lighting supports synchronization with addressable RGB LED technologies from Asus, ASRock, MSI, Gigabyte, and Razer. The mounting system with its own backplate enables secure installation with high contact pressure and ensures compatibility with all common Intel and AMD CPUs.
design
The ETS-T50 AXE ARGB is a tower-style cooler with heatpipe transmission. The cooler is equipped with addressable RGB LEDs. For standalone operation, the fan offers a rainbow RGB lighting effect. Synchronizable RGB lighting is possible via addressable RGB headers on motherboards from Asus, ASRock, MSI, and Gigabyte. Programmable lighting effects are available via the motherboard software. Razer Chroma is supported with compatible ASRock and MSI motherboards. Note: Addressable RGB LEDs operate at 5V; do not connect them to a non-addressable 4-pin header with 12V.
Pressure Differential Flow Design (PDF)
Conical tunnels create a difference in air pressure, increasing airflow by up to 15% and allowing heat to be dissipated more quickly.
Vortex Generator Flow (VGF)
In aviation, spoilers, called vortex generators, are used to direct airflow evenly along the wings. Enermax engineers have applied this technology to the CPU heatsink: Small spoilers on the cooling fins next to the heat pipes create a vortex that brings more fresh air to the back of the heat pipes.
Vacuum Effect Flow (VEF)
The partially closed sides of the heat sink create a vacuum that also draws in fresh air from the sides.
Heat Pipe Direct Touch (HDT)
With the patented Heat Pipe Direct Touch technology, the heat pipes rest directly on the CPU. The advantage over a base plate is faster heat transfer without additional resistance.
Asymmetric Heat Pipe Design
The asymmetric heatpipe design creates additional space for the fan to prevent tall RAM modules from being blocked.
High-pressure fan blades
The ETS-T50 AXE ARGB is equipped with a 12 cm high-pressure fan optimized for use on CPU coolers. The patented Twister bearing technology ensures smooth operation and a long service life of up to 160,000 hours MTBF. The nine high-pressure fan blades operate at a wide speed range of 500–1,600 RPM for extremely quiet operation and high cooling performance.
Thermal Conductive Coating
The thermal conductive coating is a thin protective layer that prevents oxidation without affecting heat transfer.
Air Guide
The Air Guide on the back of the cooler allows you to control the airflow for perfect adaptation to the needs of the case.
compatibility
Fast and user-friendly universal mounting system with support for Intel and AMD sockets (except TR4/SP3 sockets). The pressure-compensating spring system and Dow Corning high-performance thermal paste ensure perfect contact with the CPU heat spreader.
