Custom-made special version for TR4/SP3 (Ryzen Threadripper / Epyc)
The solid copper contact area of the TR4-SP3 version, measuring 70x56mm, is more than twice the size of the standard model. It was specifically designed for the oversized heat spreaders (IHS) of AMD's TR4/SP3-based processors and enables optimal heat transfer from the CPU to the cooler socket and further via the heat pipes to the cooling fins.

Compact 92mm format for best compatibility
With a total width of just 95mm, the NH-U9S TR4-SP3 never protrudes above the top PCIe x16 slot, offering 100% PCIe compatibility. At the same time, with a height of just 125mm, the cooler fits into many compact systems and most 4U cases.

Two NF-A9 PWM fans
The NH-U9 TR4-SP3 comes with two of Noctua's award-winning NF-A9 PWM 92mm fans. This dual-fan configuration delivers impressively silent cooling performance for such a compact cooler, close to the level of the larger NH-U12S TR4-SP3.

PWM and low-noise adapter
The NF-A9 92mm fans of the NH-U9 TR4-SP3 support PWM for convenient, fully automatic speed control via the motherboard. Furthermore, the included low-noise adapters allow the maximum speed to be reduced from 2000 to 1550 rpm for even quieter operation.

SecuFirm2 mounting system for TR4/SP3
