Increased contact area
The solid copper contact surface of the DX-4677 version is 70x56mm, more than twice as large as that of the standard model. It was specially adapted for the oversized heat spreaders (IHS) of Intel's LGA4677-based processors and enables optimal heat transfer from the CPU to the cooler socket and further via the heat pipes to the cooling fins.

SecuFirm2™ mounting system with Intel standard parts
By integrating standard Intel parts such as the anti-tilt mechanism, Torx® T30 PEEK nuts and the LGA4677 processor carrier frames (CPU carrier frames, included with boxed CPUs, sold separately for tray CPUs), the cooler's mounting system fully complies with Intel guidelines and follows the assembly process familiar to experienced LGA4677 users. A Torx® T30 assembly tool is included.

Compatible with E1A, E1B and E1C processor support frames
LGA4677 processors require plastic mounting brackets, which are supplied with boxed CPUs and are available separately for tray CPUs from Intel resellers. The SecuFirm2™ mounting system for LGA4677 is compatible with all mounting bracket types (E1A, E1B, E1C).

140mm format for maximum cooling performance
With six heat pipes, a dissipation area of more than 6000cm² and two large format NF-A15 140mm fans, the NH-U14S DX-4677 achieves superior cooling performance.
