The LevelOne KVM-0831/-1631 8/16-Port Combo KVM Switch enables control and
Configuring a server farm or multiple computers via the local console or the remote console port.

Local console
PS/2 or USB keyboards and mice, as well as a VGA cable, can be easily connected to this KVM switch via the local console port. This allows control of systems connected directly to the KVM switch.

Remote Console
To use the remote control function, the KVM-0831/-1631 offers an expansion slot for the optional use of modules such as the ACC-1000 Cat.5 or the ACC-2000 IP
Expansion module. The ACC-1000 Cat.5 module allows control of computers/servers up to 300 meters away.

System management for large applications
By using the daisy chain function (cascading) of up to 8x KVM-0830/0831/0841/1630/1631/1641, up to 120 computers can be connected and controlled. This allows network administrators to control large groups of servers or systems from a single console without having to switch between different consoles.
The user-friendly interface allows for easy installation of the KVM switches and straightforward management of the connected systems. Additionally, the KVM-0831/-1631 offers security features to protect the systems from unauthorized access.
