Highlight features such as High Scalability VPN (HSVPN) and Advanced Mesh VPN offer you a significant increase in scalability and efficiency for many branches and applications. If several WAN connections are defined, they are automatically operated in Active/Active mode (load balancing), thereby increasing the total available bandwidth. With Dynamic Path Selection and Dynamic Traffic Steering, applications are also dynamically routed via the currently best connection.

The LTE Advanced modem (Cat. 6) ensures fast mobile access with up to 300 Mbit/s downstream. This makes the LANCOM 1803VA-4G ideal for intelligent backup scenarios to protect business-critical applications. With an upstream of up to 50 Mbit/s, the module offers high speed when transferring data within the company network or to external cloud services.

This SD-WAN gateway offers you five integrated IPSec VPN channels for secure encryption, so that the protection of internal company data is always guaranteed when connecting mobile employees, home offices or branch offices. With the LANCOM VPN option, you can also upgrade the device to up to 25 VPN channels, so that the infrastructure can easily grow as needed without additional hardware.

Professional, extensive telephony functions
Equipped with the LANCOM VCM (Voice Call Manager), the LANCOM SD-WAN VoIP Gateway takes on classic tasks for telephony management and integrates all types of telephony components such as SIP, ISDN or analog. The LANCOM VCM also offers common functions of a Session Border Controller (SBC): This enables the secure separation of external (insecure) and internal (secure) networks. For high call quality, voice packets are given preferential treatment thanks to bandwidth reservation (quality of service). In addition, the VCM, as a SIP proxy, enables the professional management of signaling and voice data for high security when setting up, conducting and terminating telephone calls, including the necessary protocol conversion via transcoding. The VoIP Gateway conveniently takes over the translation between ISDN, analog and VoIP.
