With the LANCOM Content Filter, the network bandwidth is fully reserved for business operations and websites containing spyware, phishing, viruses, etc. are securely blocked. The Content Filter uses a database-supported web filter technology in which an external rating server checks the requested websites online for their actual content. Three pre-configured security profiles – Basic, Company, Child Protection – also enable this solution to be implemented quickly and efficiently.

The LANCOM Content Filter offers comprehensive statistics with evaluations by category. For example, top 10 lists can be created over a set period of time that show attempts to access blocked and override URLs. All statistics are not created on a personal basis, so that strict data protection guidelines are adhered to.

Category-based overrides for websites
The override button allows users to temporarily access blocked websites for justified reasons in order to access URLs that are actually blocked for a short time and without having to adjust the configuration again. The override can be activated per category and monitored via email, SYSLOG and SNMP.

Effective protection for every size
The content filter is licensed on a per-user basis. The LANCOM device only counts the IP addresses that want to access content blocked by the filter. Licensing in different sizes enables precise adaptation or convenient expansion to the network.
