Fast Wi-Fi 6 for small and medium user densities
With the LANCOM LX-6200 you get high-throughput performance of the latest Wi-Fi 6 generation. This makes it the ideal device wherever the fastest Wi-Fi is needed for a small to medium-sized number of users, such as in hotels, small offices, medical practices or branches. The integrated USB interface (2.0) also provides the basis for the integration of IoT radio systems into existing Wi-Fi infrastructures.
Dual Concurrent Wi-Fi 6 with aggregate data rate of up to 1,775 Mbps
The LANCOM LX-6200 offers WLAN in the Wi-Fi 6 standard (IEEE 802.11ax) and can provide both clients in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and end devices in the 5 GHz band with fast WLAN. The Wi-Fi 6 technology enables transmission rates of up to 1,200 Mbit/s in 5 GHz and parallel up to 575 Mbit/s in 2.4 GHz.
2×2 multi-user MIMO in downlink and uplink
Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO for short) enables the distribution of all available spatial streams of the LANCOM LX-6200 to several different clients simultaneously instead of serving them one after the other as was previously the case. This means that the available bandwidth is used efficiently and delays in the wireless network are massively reduced. With Wi-Fi 6, MU-MIMO can be used in both the downlink and uplink.
Professional IoT support via BLE and USB
With the LANCOM LX-6200, you can easily immerse yourself in the world of the Internet of Things (IoT). Support for Bluetooth Low Energy (5.1) and USB 3.0 opens up many possibilities for communicating with modern WLAN sensors in devices or objects and for innovative applications such as asset tracking. This means you can easily operate solutions for digital room signage, electronic shelf labels and other ePaper applications using the optionally available LANCOM Wireless ePaper USB.
Operation via LANCOM Management Cloud, WLAN controller or stand-alone
The LANCOM LX-6200 offers the greatest possible flexibility in operation: Managed via the LANCOM Management Cloud, it is integrated into a holistic, automated network orchestration based on software-defined networking technology. In addition, it can be used centrally via a LANCOM WLAN controller or in stand-alone operation.
WLAN security standard WPA3
WPA3, the successor to WPA2, offers important extensions and security features for small (“WPA3-Personal”) and large networks (“WPA3-Enterprise”).
Uncompromising additional services for maximum future security
The LANCOM LX-6200 supports the fast WLAN standard IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), so that you are technically well prepared for future challenges. LANCOM Systems gives you a 3-year warranty on the LX-6200, which can easily be extended to 5 years with the Warranty Basic Option S or the Warranty Advanced Option S. And you also benefit from the high LANCOM standards on the software side: You receive free major releases of the LCOS LX operating system several times a year with new, future-proof features. Even if a product is discontinued, we offer free major releases, critical security fixes (security updates) based on the last available software version and free technical manufacturer support for at least another 2 years as part of LANCOM software lifecycle management.
Ready for Wi-Fi 6!
More throughput, lower latency. What exactly is behind the buzzwords surrounding the new Wi-Fi 6 standard?
We show you how you can benefit from the new technology with ax-capable LANCOM devices in our “Wi-Fi 6 Video” and on the technology page.
The superiority of Wi-Fi 6
Wi-Fi 6 offers numerous advantages over Wi-Fi 5! The LANCOM white paper illustrates this by showing the superiority of a WLAN infrastructure based on 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi 6 access points compared to an installation with 3×3 MIMO access points with Wi-Fi 5. The document can help you select the WLAN infrastructure that is right for you.
