This option simplifies the billing of hotspot fees. As soon as the
LANCOM Public Spot Option is installed, this additional option enables registration and
Billing of guest access via the Property Management System (PMS). This is done via the
FIAS interface, which enables direct communication between LANCOM device and, for example, the FIAS-based
Micros Fidelio system. The LANCOM hotspot solution offers considerable flexibility in terms of
Tariff design: Decide for yourself whether Internet usage fees are automatically added to the
hotel room bill of the respective guest or whether, for example, for conference guests via
additionally issued vouchers for free internet use.
