A valid license is required to operate a LANCOM R&S®Unified Firewall or LANCOM vFirewall. With the flexible license model, you can choose between the range of functions you require (Basic or Full) and the available license terms of 1, 3 or 5 years.

Basic License
Let a high-performance security appliance take over your internal network segmentation. You can ensure compliance with the individual rules in your various security zones using user-based rules and rights, professional user authentication and, last but not least, the “easy-to-use” design of our interface. The license activates firewall functions and offers firmware updates.

Full License
Regain control of your network with the complementary, complete UTM and VPN functions. You can easily control company policies, utilization, security and data traffic with our various filter and scan options, such as content filters including BPjM youth protection filters and app filters, the sophisticated IDS / IPS system or our anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-malware functions and preventive security against unknown threats through integrated sandboxing and machine learning.
