The LANCOM vRouter is a software-based router for operation in a virtualized environment based on a hypervisor such as VMware ESXi, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Hyper-V or Microsoft Azure. With its comprehensive range of functions and numerous security features based on the LCOS operating system, it is the best basis for state-of-the-art infrastructures. Whether as a virtual VPN router (vCPE), central site VPN gateway (vGateway) or WLAN controller (vWLC), it is particularly suitable for system houses, service providers and for use in medium and large companies.

The number of managed access points depends on the license category of the vRouter.
