The LevelOne POI-2002 is a PoE injector (PSE) with one Ethernet input port (data only) and one output port (data + power), designed for small to medium-sized networks. This injector converts the 100~240V/AC power supply to low voltage so that IEEE 802.3af-compliant devices can be powered over the Ethernet cabling. Furthermore, the POI-2002 injector can verify whether the network device is IEEE 802.af compliant or can only be powered with data. By adding a PoE splitter (POS-1002) to existing non-PoE networks, additional network products such as access points and IP cameras can be easily deployed. This provides administrators with flexible installation, as the new devices do not need to be placed near a power outlet.
