Extend HDMI and USB signals over distances of up to 150m via HDBaseT

The Lindy 150m Cat.6 HDMI 4K60, IR, RS232 & Audio HDBaseT KVM Receiver is part of a powerful, reliable solution for extending AV and data signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cable.

By combining this receiver with a compatible HDBaseT Wall Plate Transmitter, such as Lindy No. 38387 and 38388, this solution ensures reliable transmission over distances of up to 150m.

The following distance and resolution combinations are possible when using a high-quality Cat.6 or higher U/UTP or F/UTP cable:

With support for resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD, videos can be played back in stunning clarity. The added support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) enables the display of content with enhanced brightness, higher black and white contrast, and a much wider color gamut. This provides a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage solutions in retail environments, impressive displays at events, or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lecture halls.

The PoC (Power over Cable) functionality with on/off switch offers additional flexibility. This allows power and data to be transmitted together over a single Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between transmitter and receiver, requiring only a single power supply on one side of the installation.

This extender supports USB 2.0 devices such as mice, keyboards, and other peripherals that can be connected to the receiver to control a source device like a PC or laptop, or to transfer data. Thanks to the bidirectional IR ports on both sides of the device, the source device can be easily controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI source side.

Furthermore, the power supply is connected via a screw-on DC socket, which provides a safer and more reliable connection – perfect for professional installations where accidental interruptions could be a major problem.

HDBaseT is a globally recognized standard for the high-quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control, over long distances using cost-effective Cat.6 cables or higher.
