This Lindy USB 3.1 Gen 2 active cable uses integrated active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.1 device by 5 meters while maintaining a data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps and supporting DisplayPort 1.4 Alternate Mode. It combines data and video transmission as well as power delivery in a single cable, making it a perfect solution for use in modern conference rooms and classrooms when connecting LFDs and touch panels.
The 5m USB 3.1 Gen 2 C/C active cable also supports DisplayPort 1.4 Alternate Mode. However, when transmitting DP 1.4 signals, only USB 2.0 with data rates up to 480 Mbps is supported. USB 3.2 Gen 2 with data rates up to 10 Gbps is achieved when transmitting DP 1.2 signals with resolutions up to 4K 60Hz. The active cable also supports Power Delivery up to 60W (20V/3A). It is compatible with computers with USB 3.1 Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 interfaces and is suitable for use with laptops, MacBooks, and PCs with a Type-C port. It supports plug and play and is easy to install.
