The NF-A15 is a quiet 140mm premium fan with a round AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frame and 120mm mounting holes (105mm hole spacing). For even greater cooling performance on current high-end CPU coolers, the width has been increased to 150mm, and advanced aerodynamic design features such as Flow Acceleration Channels give the NF-A15 even better silent performance than the award-winning NF-P14. Noctua's custom-designed PWM IC for fully automatic speed control and the reference-class SSO2 bearing guarantee superb quietness and outstanding long-term stability. Modular cabling, the low-noise adapter, and a 6-year manufacturer's warranty make the NF-A15 a top-of-the-line solution for the most demanding applications.

Successor to the multiple test winner NF-P14
Noctua's NF-P14 has become a standard solution for PC enthusiasts requiring premium-quality 140mm fans. Thanks to extensive aerodynamic optimizations, the NF-A15 achieves even higher static pressure and a further improved airflow-to-noise ratio compared to its renowned predecessor.

Round 140mm frame with 150mm width
The NF-A15 was specifically designed for use on current high-end CPU coolers: Its 150mm width corresponds to most current high-end heatsinks, and its 140mm height ensures the fan doesn't protrude, ensuring optimal case compatibility. The 120mm mounting holes (105mm hole spacing) also make the NF-A15 an ideal upgrade for 120mm case or CPU fans.

Flow Acceleration Channels
The impeller of the NF-A15 is equipped with flow acceleration channels on the intake side. By accelerating the airflow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades, vortex shedding on the intake side is reduced, resulting in higher efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emissions.

AAO frame system
Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames feature integrated vibration dampers as well as a stepped inlet design and inner surface microstructures, enabling even better performance/noise efficiency.

Stepped Inlet Design
The stepped inlet area of the stepped inlet design creates more turbulence in the intake. This facilitates the transition from laminar to turbulent flow, which adheres better to the frame (flow attachment), thus increasing the fan's suction capacity, especially in confined intake areas.

Inner Surface Microstructures
The microstructure on the inside of the frame (inner surface microstructures) creates a boundary layer through which the fan blade tips move. This reduces flow separation from the suction side of the blade tips, resulting in a significant reduction in rotational noise and an increase in pressure and airflow efficiency.

Integrated anti-vibration pads
Made of extra-soft silicone, the anti-vibration pads reduce the transmission of even the smallest vibrations and are compatible with all standard screws and commercially available mounting systems or fan clamps used on CPU coolers.

SSO2 warehouse
The NF-A15 features the further optimized second generation of Noctua's proven SSO bearing system. With SSO2, the rear magnet is positioned closer to the fan axis, providing even better stabilization, resulting in further improved precision and durability.

Metal bearing shell
To guarantee the greatest possible degree of manufacturing precision, minimal tolerances and excellent long-term stability, the NF-A15 uses a CNC-milled brass bearing shell.

PWM IC with SCD
The NF-A15 PWM supports fully automatic speed control via PWM and utilizes Noctua's new, custom-designed NE-FD1 chip. This new PWM IC integrates Noctua's Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which minimizes PWM switching noise, making the fan even quieter at low speeds.

Low-Noise Adapter
The NF-A15 PWM comes with a Low-Noise Adapter (LNA) that reduces the maximum speed from 1200 to 900 rpm. This allows you to either operate the fan at a constant 900 rpm or limit the maximum speed in PWM mode.

Comprehensive connection options
While the short 20cm primary cable helps avoid cable clutter in typical applications, the included 30cm extension cable offers extra reach just in case. Both cables are fully sleeved, and a 4-pin Y-cable allows for controlling a second PWM fan on the same connector.

Particularly low power consumption
Despite its further improved performance, the NF-A15's power consumption is only 0.96W, a reduction of approximately 20% compared to its predecessor. This makes the NF-A15 not only environmentally friendly but also helps you reduce your electricity bill!

6-year manufacturer's warranty
Noctua fans are known for their impeccable quality and outstanding durability. Like all Noctua fans, the NF-A15 boasts an MTBF rating of over 150,000 hours and comes with a full 6-year manufacturer's warranty.
